At our Spanish subsidiary, based in Alcobendas (Madrid), we are looking for a SERVICE TECHNICIAN on a temporary 6-month contract (with a possibility of up to 12 months).

In the workshop, you will be responsible for providing our various ranges of equipment. You will be responsible for

- Analysing the malfunctioning of machines received, estimating the parts to be changed or repaired and the estimated time for repairs.

- Drawing up the quotation for transmission to the customer.

- Repairing the machines and draw up the repair report.

- Preparing the machine before delivery (checking, testing, adjustments, etc.).

- Checking and calibrating measuring tools in accordance with current procedures.

You will be responsible for managing your stock of spare parts: carrying out rolling inventories to ensure that physical and IT stocks are consistent and using the procedures in place to move spare parts. You report any over-consumption or quality problems with spare parts that could lead to stock-outs.

To enable continuous improvement of the equipment, you will record and communicate any problems observed (performance, recurring breakdowns, etc.) in accordance with the internal procedure.

As a technical expert, you will be in charge of a customer hotline: receiving the customer's call, establishing an initial diagnosis and creating an action in the ERP system.

These tasks require a good knowledge of electronics, electricity, mechanics and metrology tools. You'll also need a medium knowledge of IT, specially Microsoft Office.

You have a technical background and at least 2 years' experience in technical services for medical equipment.

As a solutions and services technician, you enjoy solving technical problems and rising to challenges.

You are rigorous and autonomous, with a sense of priorities. You have good interpersonal skills and are a team player, so customer satisfaction is important to you.

You have excellent organisational, documentation and filing skills.

You are able to read and understand mechanical drawings, electronic diagrams, wiring diagrams and illustrated drawings of equipment parts.

English level required in addition to local language.
